Auch ich traue Lacerda nicht zu, mit "Inventions" ein thematisch überzeugendes Spiel zu generieren. Selbst der Prototyp sieht ja schon nach reiner Mechanikzwirbelei aus, auch wenn es am Ende bestimmt ein paar tolle Plättchen mit tollen "Ideen" und so gibt, die dann "TechTree"-mäßig irgendwie eine 'Evolution' (haha) durchlaufen. Am Ende ist das aber auch nicht allzu wichtig: Wie schon bei the Gallerist gilt auch in diesem Fall, dass mich ein reines abstraktes Euro mit einem überstülptem 'erwachsenem' Thema und passender Grafik mehr anspricht als ein reines abstraktes Euro mit übergestülptem 'Standard-Thema' (Fantasy, Tiere, Sci-Fi, Mittelalter, etc.) und einer Grafik, die aussieht, als wäre sie eher für 10-Jährige (viele deutsche Euros) oder für 14-Jährige (viel FFG-Ameritrash) designt als für Erwachsene. Noch mehr würde mich allerdings ein gutes thematisches Spiel interessieren.
