Auszug aus dem letzten Kickstarter Update vom 28.Januar diesen Jahres:

"You may have noticed the Spotlight restrictions that Kickstarter has placed on the Anastyr project. We've been in contact with them and they've explained that this is mainly due to the lack of communication about the project over the last three months. With the promise of a monthly update, these restrictions will be lifted."

Die versprochenen monatlichen Updates haben sie nicht eingehalten. Ich bin wirklich froh, nicht in dieses Projekt eingestiegen zu sein. Von Mythic Games steht bei mir lediglich noch Hel aus und dieses habe ich schon mehr oder weniger abgeschrieben. Wenn es dann in fünf Jahren plötzlich doch kommen sollte, umso besser.

Ich bleib drin und harre der Dinge die da kommen mögen 🤷🏼‍♂️

Diesen Glauben halte ich bisher auch noch aufrecht.

This other publisher, who will make their own announcement, will take over the IP and develop it using their own proven methods. The exact announcement will be made very soon, and we know that our backers will have the opportunity to receive a copy of the new Anastyr base game to be produced. Given the quality of the games produced by this publisher, their experience and high standards, we are not only reassured, but certain that this new version of Anastyr will live up to your expectations.

Ich habe für einen Kumpel für 400 Dollar gepledged... Ich sehe nicht mehr, dass ich da noch einen Refund erhalten werde...

Diese "opportunity" bekommen denke ich auch sogenannte Nicht-Backer. Das wird noch interessant werden.

Aus dem Statement von CMON:

We have big plans for both of these worlds, including offering you, the original Mythic Backers who paid for the lowest pledge level and up, a free English or French copy of each re-developed base game, if you wish to receive it.

It’s important to state that these games will not be the same Mythic games you initially backed. As mentioned above, after a deep dive into the available materials, we determined that both games needed significant work and development. Zum Glück war ich nur mit Base und einer Erweiterung drin - und wenn CMON das jetzt übernimmt, muss ich nichtmal Geld auf Conan werfen um einen schnellen Monsterschnetzler zu kriegen.

Damit bin ich wohl glimpflich davongekommen...

Aber dafür, dass ich alles abgeschrieben habe ist das fast eine erfreuliche Wendung.

Na ja, du wirst 50+ Euro Shipping+VAT für ein CMON-Basegame zahlen müssen, das du im Handel nur unwesentlich teurer erwerben können wirst.

Ja, mit einem weinenden und einem lachenden Auge ... schade, dass die Ursprungs-Spiele so nicht mehr kommen werden. Auch Schade um das Geld, was jetzt sicherlich weg ist und über einen Refund braucht man ja gar nicht mehr nachdenken. Aber andererseits wenigstens etwas ... zwei Basegames (Hel und

Anastyr) vielleicht noch mit den entsprechenden SG (falls das Ganze noch als CMON-KS kommen sollte) ist halt besser als nichts oder noch schlimmer, wieder vor der Wahl stehen, noch einmal viel Geld hinterher zu werfen (Nachzahlung wie bei den anderen MG Titeln) und dann unter Umständen mit nichts dazustehen ... nun steht bei mir zumindest nur noch #DarkestDungeon in der dt. Version aus ... abwarten, was das jetzt noch schlussendlich wird ...

Sieht bei mir nicht viel besser aus ... andererseits sage ich mir halt, dass ich bei sovielen Kickstartern dermaßen viel Glück hatte und viel Geld einsparen konnte. (Allein schon mein KD:M Pledge, was viel Content) Da kann halt nicht bei allen Projekten alles glatt laufen ... in Zukunft werde ich in jedem Fall weniger backen, allein weil die goldenen Zeiten des Crowdfundigs wirklich rum sind und ich jetzt zudem dermaßen viel zum Spielen habe, dass es alleine wegen Platz und Zeit galt nicht mehr jeder Kickstarter sein muss.

Die zwei gebackten Erweiterungen kann ich wohl abschreiben, aber wenn ich doch noch ein Core game bekomne, besser sls gar nichts.

Es stimmt eh nicht ganz. Das Geld wurde umgeschichtet und bei mythicgames.net in darkest dungeon investiert. Bin trotzdem froh.

Liest sich für mich nicht nach einem neuen Crowdfunding Projekt, sondern nur nach einer Vorbestellungsaktion für ein gestreamlintes Spiel ohne Stretchgoal etc. Ich bin zwar nur mit 200,- EUR drin, aber ich befürchte, das wird selbst für mich ein Nullsummenspiel, bei der Vorbestelleraktion mitzumachen. Ich denke VAT und Porto wird mindestens 40,- wenn nicht Richtung 50,- EUR gehen und für wieviel wird das Spiel nachher im Retail zu kriegen sein? 70,- EUR / 60,- EUR.
