Meine Gold-Medaille unter den 2019er-Neuheiten geht an: LAMA. Einfach aufgrund der Häufigkeit. Lieber ein Spiel, für das ich Mitspieler für Mitspieler von 5 bis 70 Jahren finde, als einen Heavy Euro Brecher, den ich mit viel Mühe zweimal auf den Tisch kriege.
Positive Erwähnung noch für Thunderstone Advance Quest (meistgespielter Kickstarter, der 2019 ankam) und Brass Birmingham (meistgespieltes jüngeres Spiel).

Ich spiele vergleichsweise wenige Spiele mehr als 4x im Jahr. Brettspiele, die ich mindestens 1x gespielt habe, waren es insgesamt 111, dazu kommen noch 7 digitale Spiele.
Das ist trotzdem für mich ein erheblicher „Aufwand“, muss ich doch selbst alle Regeln lesen, weil mir niemand Spiele erklärt, und recherchiere ich schließlich auch bei nahezu jedem Spiel mehr oder weniger intensiv zu seinem Thema, was für mich einen ganz wesentlichen Teil des Hobbys „Beschäftigung mit Spielen“ ausmacht.
Bei mir sieht die Statistik dieses Jahr deutlich anderes aus als bei den meisten hier:

Maria ist ein reines 3 Spieler Spiel Friedrich benötigt 4 Spieler. Mechanisch und Optisch gleichen sich die Spiele. In Maria gibt es eine zusätzliche Politische Phase wo man auf 3 verschiedene Leisten bietet um Marker zu verschieben die an den jeweiligen Rändern dann gut oder schlecht für einen sind. Das bewegen das kämpfen ist in beiden Spielen identisch. Die Spielziele unterscheiden sich.
In Maria spielt man auf einer geteilten Karte wo nur 2 Spieler die Seiten wechseln können (Österreich und Frankreich) der 3 Spieler Preußen hat ein schizophrene Rolle auf einer Karte Österreichs Feind auf der anderen Karte als Niederländer Österreichs Verbündeter. Spielziele sind Österreich muss überleben, Frankreich und Preußen/Holland müßen eine gewisse Menge an Städten erobern.
In Friedrich spielt man auf einer Karte als Preuße er muss überleben während die anderen 3 Spieler eine gewisse Städteanzahl in Preußen erobern wollen sie spielen aber jeder für sich, da sie zahlenmäßig Preußen unterlegen sind müssen sie in gewisser Weise zusammenarbeiten.
Dir muss klar sein das beide Spiele sehr spartanisch daherkommen man bewegt nur Generäle am Spielplan die Soldateneinheiten werden geheim auf einen Zettel markiert und erst bei einem Kampf offenbart. Es gibt sehr gute Infos auf der Histogames Seite zu den Spielen. Beide Spiele bieten eigentlich wenig Abwechslung den die Startaufstellung der Generäle ist immer gleich die Mindestanzahl der Soldaten ist vorgegeben. Man kann dann eine gewissen Anzahl an Einheiten frei vergeben. Zufällig sind die Handkarten die man bekommt.
Wir sind meistens zu dritt daher stellt sich für uns die Frage nicht welches von den beiden Spielen wir spielen. Durch die zusätzliche Politikphase find ich Maria spannender. Auch die Aufgabenstellung die bei Friedrich 3vs1 und in Maria 1 vs 1 vs 1(2) finde ich bei Maria spannender.

wie lange spielt man da ? BGG sagt 210min ist das realistisch oder eher länger kürzer(kommt auch auf die Gruppe an) ? Wenn das Spiel wieder zu haben ist werde ich es mir wohl gönnen
Maria würde ich 3 Stunden reine Spielzeit anpeilen. Für Friedrich 2 Stunden mehr, einfach weil ein Mitspieler mehr am Tisch sitzt und das Verhandlungselement doch seine Zeit braucht.
Wir haben Maria schon mal unter der Woche gespielt, während Friedrich bei uns nur am Wochenende möglich war.

2019 war das Jahr, in dem wir erst richtig zum Brettspielen gekommen sind. Auf unseren Tisch kamen am häufigsten:

lässt sich zu zweit genauso gut spielen wie zu viert
#SaloonTycoon, auf den ersten Blick ziemlich solitär, hat aber durch die Outlaws eine geniale Prise Ärgerfaktor, und ist vor allem schnell gespielt, so dass es bei uns selten bei einer Runde blieb
Aufs Treppchen geschafft hat es auch noch #JägerundSpäher, weil Lieblings-Zweier-Spiel meiner Frau

Gerne mehr gespielt hätte ich außerdem meine Lieblingsspiele Fest für Odin und Terra Mystica. Dafür fehlte uns leider aber oft die Muse, weshalb dann "seichtere" Kost auf den Tisch kam. Generell überwiegen bei uns auch die Koop-Spiele.
Meistgespielt in 2019
1. Just One - Kam zu fast jeder Gelegenheit aufm Tisch und immer gut an. Inzwischen lassen die Stifte nach und ich habe wohl fast jeden Begriff mal gespielt.
2. Texas Showdown - Wann immer eine größere Runde zusammenkam und ein entspannter Absacker gesucht wurde.
3. Terraforming Mars - Das typische Spiel, was gespielt wurde, wenn wir uns in einer Runde nicht so recht einigen konnten. Terraforming Mars geht immer.
Meistgemocht in 2019
1. Too Many Bones - Kennengelernt, selbst all-in gekauft, und nach x Partien immer noch grandios und am besten in passender 3er-Runde
2. Nemesis - Kennengelernt, als zu zufälliger Amitrash abgetan, dann selbst gekauft und jede Spielpartie hat seine ganz eigene Story erzählt
3. Crokinole - ShutUpSitDown hat den Kaufimpuls gegeben, überragende Materialqualität, herausforderndes Spielerlebnis, leider groß und schwer

Das beste "Kurze" 2019, für uns, mit Abstand ... Super Schnell (Dank Ressourcen Inlay) aufgebaut ... hohe Dynamik ... tolles Artwork und eine Spielzeit von ca 30 Minuten!!!
Wir spielen es immer ohne Card-Draft und haben fast immer enge, spannende Partien!!!
Nemesis - wurde Mitte des Jahres ausgeliefert und hat mich seitdem im Bann. Inzwischen gute 20x gespielt (physisch und via TTS) und jedes Mal durchaus positives Feedback erhalten. Wird meine Sammlung nicht mehr verlassen.
Karak - an dieser Stelle einen großen Dank an jaws, der hier erstmals von diesem Spiel erzählt hat. Ich wurde daher neugierig und habe es dann auch bestellt. Dank dieser Erwähnung habe ich mit meiner Tochter zusammen 2019 viele schöne Dungeon-Crawler-Partien absolviert, was mit zeigt, dass ihr Interesse an solch einer Thematik durchaus liegt 2020 kann somit durchaus mehr in diese Richtung ausprobiert werden. Erste Schritte hatte wir um Weihnachten rum mit Maus & Mystik. Das war schon nicht schlecht.
Too Many Bones / Undertow - Bedingt durch die SPIEL 19 oft gespielt und ich liebe es einfach!
