...Vorteil vom heutigen Home Office, nicht nur dass ich in der Mittagspause mal schnell alle Fotos von O - Z gemacht habe, sondern auch dass man nebenher mal unbekannte Bands bei Youtube und Konsorten anhören kann....
Insofern du hast recht, das was ich bislang von den Schweden gehört hab, hat mir durchaus gefallen, werde ich mal genauer ansehen und mich danach umsehen... Dankeschön!

hab ich glaube ich auch zwei LPs von - und ich hab nichts geraucht klang jedenfalls so, als hätte man das besser tun sollen... vermutlich nicht DiSta 's Geschmack (und meiner auch nicht mehr)

...da hat papadjango aber Recht gehabt, auch bei stehen zwei Alben der älteren Schwester von Mike (deshalb auch mein Smiley weiter oben)....

Mal sehen. Papa Roach wäre vermutlich nur eine CD. Pantera könnte schon eher auf Vinyl sein. Aber mein Tipp lautet: Robert Palmer.

Der wäre zwar naheliegend, zumal wir ja auch schon ELP hatten, aber unter seinem eigenen Namen sind doch nur in diesem Jahrtausend ein paar Platten erschienen, und die wären dann vermutlich auf CD!?

...auch nicht schlecht - aber leider nein....
...ist ne Band aus den 70er, die mit zwei unterschiedlichen Songs einmal in England und einmal in den USA auf Platz 1 der Hitparade klettern konnten - beide Songs sind im übrigen auf dem Album, was bei mir zwischen den beiden abgebildeten steht....
Aber so richtig bekannt sind die dann doch nicht, zu mindesten können wahrscheinlich die wenigsten den beiden Liedern - so diese im Radio kommen würden - den Namen der Band zuordnen....

Die Band gewann seinerzeit in GB den ersten Platz in einer nationalweiten Talentshow (das gab's wohl auch schon in den 70ern...)
und
die Band hat mit dem Fußballteam ihrer Heimatstadt ein Lied aufgenommen und kam damit immerhin in die Top 25 der britischen Charts und in die Top 10 in den Niederlanden....

Nicht dass ich da keine Platten hätte, hab sogar 16 Stück, aber die sind allesamt von der gleichen Band, und das ist nicht Quicksilver Messenger Service (von denen hab ich nur CDs....), Von daher und weil ich bei "P" noch so viel stehen habe, eine zweite Runde mit P (als Ersatz für Q):

Zum Thema: Am King Elvis sind wir bereits vorbei, The Pretty Reckless ist zu neu für Vinyl, bei Prince bin ich unsicher, ob du ihn hast, und die Preussische Staatskapelle steht bei dir sicher unter "deutsch" ...
Ich tippe deshalb auf Primal Scream, wohlwissend dass auch hier bereits CD statt Vinyl möglich wäre.

Elvis steht wirklich da... Pretty Reckless und Primal Scream besitze ich nicht, Prince ist der bekannte halbe Punkt, da als CD vorhanden....
und zu der Preussischen Staatskapelle verliere ich keine Worte....
