Bevorzuge die 4er Variante weil das Spiel einfach nich genug "FLEISCH" hat um die länge mit 6 Spieler zu rechtfertigen. Leader hätte man aber auch für die 6 spieler Variante problemlos einbauen können..naja FFg eben

Bevorzuge die alte, da die Erweiterungen nicht komplett übernommen wurden und vorallem die SOS Erweiterung mit dem zusätzlichen Board sehr lukrativ ist. Die Änderungen in der neuen Edition finde ich nur durchwachsen.

Sind. Aber sind eher wie in der Erweiterung Clash of Kings mit jeweils nochmal anderen Effekten:

Ports are now a base part of the game (and with good reason, too).
Game scales to less than 6 players by putting neutral forces in certain locations (the unplayed houses) and completely blocking off sections of the board in 3-4 player games.
Special Raid is changed from letting you raid twice, to being able to raid a Defense order as well (only the Special Raid lets you do this).
Special Consolidate now allows you to perform a limited Muster at its location (a castle or stronghold) instead of gaining power points. This is great for games where the Mustering cards in Deck I hide perniciously at the bottom of the stack.
Siege Engines are now part of the base game, providing 4 points on offense against a castle or stronghold (but 0 otherwise, and cannot retreat).
Home territories have increased defense values (the Garrisons from CoK)
The bonuses/penalties during Wildling Attack are determined after each attack by drawing from a Wildling Deck. (It can affect units, supplies, power tokens, or do nothing at all). The Messenger Raven now can be used instead to look at the top card of the Wildling Deck and bottom-bury it if they choose.
An optional "Tides of Battle" deck adds some randomness to the strength values and icons for both sides of every combat (more strength, another casualty, another protection, or casualty regardless of victory,etc.) The Valyrian Blade can be used to redraw the card from the deck if the one they are dealt is undesirable.

Zu 4. ist es imo mit neuer Edition wie damals mit dem Grundspiel kaum Spielbar. Die Erweiterungen die dabei sind sind eher ...naja. Tide of Battle braucht wirklich keiner.

Die Hauskarten wirken etwas "aggresiver" aber kanns noch nicht wirklich einschätzen. Ich mag meine 1. Edition auf jeden Fall mehr (vorallem da ich die Leader Erweiterung sehr gut fand)
