Ist aus meiner Sicht auch keine schlechte Option. Allerdings fehlen einem dann die Bosse für einige der Fighter aus Redemtion II, die in SM1 (bzw. den Stretch Goals vom Core Game) enthalten sind.
Klar, für die Miniaturen würde ich halt Proxys nehmen, das macht mir nichts aus. Muss aber natürlich jeder selbst wissen!
Habe gerade aus Neugier mal ein wenig gerechnet, das Paket hätte 34 Fighter-Decks und 10 Enemy Clans, SM1 hat 17 Fighter-Decks und 7 Clans.
SM1 hat 1200 Karten, 2+3 2200. Dafür kostet SM2+3 50% mehr. Also eigentlich kein riesiger Unterschied bei P/L. -
Wenn ich wirklich neu einsteigen würde und unbedingt Geld sparen möchte, fände ich glaube ich auch das günstigere Grundset aus SM3 zusammen mit dem Aftershock-Paket eine sehr solide Option. Ist jedenfalls die günstigste Variante, an Aftershock zu kommen, und da ist ja bergeweise Zeug drin. Und man hat auch gleich die Option für die komplexeren Charaktere aus Redemption II mit dabei, wenn man mal etwas mehr nachdenken möchte.

Natürlich 'braucht' man es nicht. Aber es ist halt das beste P/L-Verhältnis und bietet zudem eine große Auswahl an unterschiedlich komplexen Kämpfern und Gangs. Die Kämpfer im Grundspiel sind wimre eher auf der simplen Seite.
Naja, aber zu Aftershock benötige ich doch auch das Grundspiel, was das P/L Verhältnis wieder zunichte macht. Ich glaub ich steig ganz aus. Das ist mir alles zu viel FOMO.
Sicher keine unvernünftige Entscheidung. Ich finde das Spiel ja ohnehin überbewertet.

Die SG-Box von Aftershock hat etwa 3x so viel Content wie die reguläre Aftershock-Erweiterung.
Die Redemption-Charaktere sind vielleicht stark, aber auf der anderen Seite sind auch eine Anzahl der Charaktere mit höherer Komplexität aus den Redemption-Packs. Hat spielerisch für uns durchaus einen Unterschied gemacht. Leider alles nicht so einfach. -

Grundspiel und Aftershock + entsprechende SG. Aber sooo viel spart man da leider auch nicht. Es geht bei diesem Spiel halt leider erst so ab 300€ los.

Die große Aftershock Box ist nicht mehr erhältlich in den SFG-Pledges. Ich finde das schade, die ist echt sehr praktisch.
Da SM aber hauptsächlich Karten sind, gibt es da natürlich sehr viele andere Möglichkeiten der Lagerung.

Das werden aber sicher einige hundert Karten sein plus die Minis und gerade bei den Gegnern ist das schon eine relevante Anzahl. Twin Tiger, Essence of Evil, Legend of Oni etc haben deutlich weniger Content gehabt. Man sollte es wohl eher wie eine Deluxe-Erweiterung betrachten statt als Konkurrenz zum Grundspiel und in dieser Hinsicht liefert es durchaus ab, finde ich.

New Challenger Pledge definitiv, Aspirant ist schon wirklich sehr wenig Variabilität, das wird sicher schnell langweilig, falls dir das Spiel gefallen sollte.
Aber um ehrlich zu sein, wenn man nicht All-In gehen sondern das Spiel erstmal ausprobieren möchte, würde ich ausdrücklich empfehlen, auf die Auslieferung der Indiegogo-Kampagne zu warten und dann von einem der Backer den Combo-Pledge zu kaufen, die hier All-In gegangen sind.

Weiß ich nicht. Weder fand ich die Minis in Bardsung toll, noch habe ich sowas wie das Pixelbrett jemals irgendwo gesehen. Bestimmt geht es schlechter, aber es geht eben auch in Sachen Produktion so viel besser, siehe Mythic mit Solomon Kane, Panic Roll mit Townsfolk Tussle, FFG mit Descent oder auch Incredible Dream mit Kinfire.
Effektiv eine müßige Diskussion. Ich persönlich finde es sehr abwegig, SFG bei der Materialqualität ihrer Spiele als schwarzes Schaf der Brettspielindustrie hinzustellen, aber das muss ja letztendlich jeder für sich entscheiden.
Dass ihre Spiele designtechnisch häufig nicht an der Spitze mitspielen, darüber besteht ja tendentiell mehr Einigkeit, aber ich denke schon, dass man das von der Produktion, Zuverlässigkeit und Zeitfenster der der Auslieferung definitiv trennen sollte.

Zumindest besteht bei SFG (nach bisherigen Erfahrungen aus den vergangenen 5+ Jahren) absolut kein Grund zur Sorge, man würde seinen Pledge nicht erhalten oder die Produktqualität wäre niedriger Standard.
Das kann ich nach Bardsung so nicht bestätigen.
War vielleicht etwas unklar formuliert, ich bezog mich hier ausschließlich auf die ProduktIONSqualität, also die Qualität des Materials. Über die mechanischen/inhaltlichen Qualitäten hab ich mich ja an anderer Stelle in diesem Thread schon ausgelassen.
