Thank you for asking about this! I'm flattered that you're interested in the game. It's a little early for me to cover the solo mode in depth, since it has only been in design for a few weeks and is about to enter playtesting. It was important to first refine the two-player experience as much as possible, as it serves as the basis for the solo mode. Here is what I can say about the solo mode at this point:
- It is being designed by David Digby. A few of his solo designs include Undaunted, Distilled, and Racoon Tycoon, but I suggest checking out his full credits at that link.
- It will replicate a two-player game, where the opponent bot plays as one of the five asymmetric characters.
- You are playing the real multiplayer game, and so is the bot. In other words, you are both subject to the same rules and methods of scoring points as in the multiplayer game, as opposed to a beat-your-own-score approach or highly abstracted method of the bot taking their turn.
- It will be publicly available as part of a Tabletop Simulator mod during the Kickstarter campaign, launching on February 28th. If you're so inclined, you'll be able to try it there and decide whether it's right for you.
