    here is the latest information about the delivery of your SEEDERS-EXODUS game in German.




    First of all, I would like to apologize to all those who have written to us in the last three weeks and to whom we have not been able to reply individually. In this key Christmas season, our company is not structured to cope with both the peak of our core business, which is the distribution and marketing of our games to stores, and the direct communication to players who ask us questions via social networks, our online sales sites and our email addresses. This is usually not too much of a problem when everything is going well. But it obviously becomes critical when a problem occurs.
    This has been the case with sea traffic from China in recent months.




    As available containers are scarce and demand is very high, carriers are overbooking.
    In short, you book your container and its transport on a container ship at the standard price (already three times more expensive than last year). One week after the departure of the ship, you are informed that your container has remained at the quay because a container that paid the Golden rate (40% more expensive) has been loaded instead of yours. All you have to do is to register on the waiting list for the next departures (one ship per week). But the next two are already full! ! Of course, you have the opportunity to upgrade to the Golden fare!!!
    From an ethical point of view, we don't agree with these commercial practices which look like a racket.
    From an economic point of view, the prices at which we sell our games did not include the exhorbitant increase in the cost of shipping and even less the cost of the Golden rate!
    So we opted for the standard rate waiting list.




    The reason I didn't write to you earlier is that we can't get reliable information that isn't reversed the following week.
    We think that our container is at sea. We hope so. But the truth may be that it is still in the dock and we will learn it next week.
    Our container is unfortunately not equipped with a GPS tracker.


    We import a container about every three weeks. The normal delivery time is about 5 weeks. The last container we received 10 days ago took three months to arrive in Barcelona. The cause is the congestion of the ports. Container ships stop at a dozen ports along their routes where they load and unload. But today there are several days of waiting off each port, while previous cargoes are unloaded. The costs of immobilization of these gigantic ships are colossal and so the shipowners try to recover the money lost by overbooking and selling at Golden rates. The loop is closed.




    As you can see, you will have to be patient.


    All containers eventually arrive. Including ours. Our carrier gives us an ETA (estimated date of arrival) mid-January.
    We prefer to plan end of January. The truth is that we don't know.


    Like all our colleagues, we have decided to repatriate the production of half of our games in Europe for 2022. But the production capacity in Europe only covers 25% of the needs. So prices in Europe are soaring, and so are the lead times. And the raw materials that come from the rest of the world are not arriving, the same causes producing the same effects. You have probably heard about the current shortage of paper and cardboard.
    So we'll have to be patient.


    SEEDERS FROM SEREYS - EXODUS german edition finished production in China in early October.
    We will probably receive it in Barcelona at the end of January. We will ship your copy one week later.
    I can only acknowledge the reality, apologize to you for the delay and for our lack of communication in this general fog.
