Die klassische Methode ist vielleicht nicht die effektivste, bringt aber für Einsteiger tolle Resultate:
1. Grundfarben auftragen, hier prinzipiell eher hellere/kräftige Farben. Hier versuchen, möglichst sauber zu arbeiten.
2. Mit einem Wash über alles drüber gehen. Entweder seperate Farbwashes je nach Grundfarbe, oder ein dunkler Wash als Allheilmittel.
3. Mit den Grundfarben wieder aufhellen, was nicht schattiert sein sollte. Also oft Flächen und die Dinge, die von oben im Licht sind.
4. Für Highlights dann die Grundfarbe aufhellen (je nach Farbe weiß oder auch gelb, grau oder beige einmischen). Als Anfänger würde ich mich auf hervorstehende Kanten (das sogenannte Edge-Highlighting) und Kopf/Oberkörper fokussieren.
Für gewissen Texturen (z.B. Fell) eignet sich auch Trockenbürsten für schnelle Resultate.
Es darf ruhig einen starken Kontrast haben, denn eine Miniatur muss aus 0,5m Entfernung wirken, nicht als Smartphone Nachaufnahme.
