Hast du noch Plättchen übrig, die du dort ablegen kannst?
Der Aufdruck der Felder ist auch kräftiger als die der Felder, auf die du Plättchen legst (vergleihbar z.B. mit den Steuereinnehmer-Feldern, wo ja auch keine Plättchen hingelegt werden).
Hmmm, I'm still unsure whether I understood it correctly.
So if I decided to build a hometown, what I do is
a) take one of the blue action tiles and put it on my player board
b) put one of my wooden houses in one of the hometown spaces (type of space corresponding to the image on the blue tile)
c)activate all of my cities in one of the 3 regions (red, green or yellow)

When exactly can I then use the ability of the hometown tiles (i.e. either of the 2 tiles that are in the same row in which I placed my wooden house : during the same turn when I place the wooden house or only during a later turn?

Wenn du eine der Aktionen der Heimatstadt wählst (Karte kaufen oder Person ausbilden), dann musst du kein Aktionsplättchen auf dein Spielerboard legen (aber die Sanduhr).
Nutzt du eine der Fähigkeiten (genaues Bezahlen bei Kartenkauf oder Personen-Anwerben oder Zusatz-Person), dann kannst du dies nur tun, wenn du eh die entsprechende Aktion nutzt - dafür nimmst du dir natürlich deren Aktionsplättchen.
Wenn du 2 Heimatstädte in einer Reihe hast, kann du Aktion und Fähigkeit in Kombination nutzen - dann ohne ein Aktionsplättchen auf dein Tableau zu legen (nur die Sanduhr).
Dass du eine Reihe genutzt hast, markierst du mit einem neutralen Stein, den du neben/auf deine Heimatstadt legst.
BTW: The COLOR column of the hometown grid basically has no effect, correct?? (just flavor to indicate that each of the 3 "occupation groups" (scribes etc.)has a hometown in each of the 3 regions)
