ZitatAlles anzeigenHi! I was going to post a project update today, but the all I was going to write about was German shipping, so I thought I'd write to German backers and pre-order customers instead.
Here's a recap of what's happened with the German shipment so far:November 28: A boat with 5 pallets of Tuscany, Treasure Chest, and related products departed from port in Shenzhen, China.
December 26: The boat arrived in Germany at the transfer company, ITG.
January 6: This is when the shipment should have arrived at Amazon.de for individual fulfillment to you. However, over the next few weeks, ITG was unable to complete very basic paperwork. They then claimed to not be able to make a delivery appointment with Amazon.de.
January 25: Though it isn't very professional, I decided to go above ITG's head and contact Amazon.de directly to schedule a delivery. I was tired of waiting for ITG to do their job.
January 27: Amazon.de confirms a delivery appointment for January 29, and we communicate this to ITG.
January 29: I didn't receive a delivery notification, so I contacted Amazon.de to see what happened. They said they decided January 29 didn't work, so they rescheduled the delivery for February 4.
Given all of these troubles, I'm not entirely confident that Amazon.de will get the shipment on February 4. I'm hopeful, but not confident. If that is true, you should receive your rewards the week of February 9.
I'm frustrated, embarrassed, and incredibly sorry that it has taken so long to get these rewards to you. This is not the type of service I want to ever provide to backers. You've been incredibly patient, and I appreciate that.
