Nach den Aussagen zu Produktionskosten im Interview kann ich mir absolut nicht vorstellen, dass das prepainted sein wird...
Ist auch auf der offiziellen Produktseite von FFG nicht die Rede davon. Allerdings ist da jetzt der komplette Packungstext zu finden und das Spiel enthält ersteinmal nur House Stark und House Lannister.
Habe mir gerade die Antworten von C. Petersen durchgelesen und interessant fand ich seine Aussagen zur Verfügbarkeit des BL-Grundspiels:

On top of that, the factory that DOW used for this production essentially admitted to pricing their manufacturing of the original BattleLore “to get the business in the door” -- which means that the costing levels on the first run was eminently underpriced. This, set against the overall backdrop of an already steeply escalating cost in game manufacturing, has made the core game a serious issue. Reprinting the core game “as is,” would essentially result in a near $150 retail price point, which is obviously unacceptable.
Klingt fast so, als wenn Days of Wonder damals vorhatte, dass Videokonsolen-Konzept von Microsoft/Sony zu kopieren: Verlust machen mit der Grundeinheit und dann Geld verdienen mit den Erweiterungen. Da BattleLore zu Beginn ja als Warhammer-Killer geplant war mit monatlichen Erweiterungen war das sicherlich eine interessante Idee. Aber da DoW früh alle ursprünglichen Pläne mit Blister-Figuren usw. über den Haufen geworfen hat, muss wohl ziemlich schnell deutlich geworden sein, dass das nicht aufgehen wird...

FFG hat zur Eröffnung des Event Centers das Geheimnis um das unbekannte 3. Spiel gelüftet. Das ganze basiert auf Battlelore, nennt sich Battles of Westeros und spielt im Song of Ice and Fire-Universum.
Hört sich für mich nach einer netter Kombination an und für mich als Fan der Bücher sicher ein interessantes Spiel. Die Frage ist nur, wie es jetzt mit BattleLore weiter gehen wird, denn ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass FFG beide Spiele parallel weiterführen wird (und das bei Battles of Westeros auf dem Cover schon Core Set steht, kommt da bestimmt einiges nach).
