Generell find ich die Idee mit den großen Karten schon gut. Ich hab aber eben ein Bild vom Spielbrett gesehen und da merkt man erstmal wie groß die sind und, dass die Karten halt die Reise und den WP Platz rechts unten (Name vergessen) fast überdecken. Um das zu lösen hat man dann nochmal 2 Karrten mit eben diesen Plätzen die man dann weiter unten aufs Brett legen kann. Also das wirkt auf mich doch irgendwie ganz schön unrund und zu schnell geschossen.

Everdell lebt ja auch von der tollen Optik und die wird da schon ein Stück weit zu nichte gemacht.

Ein paar neue Infos zur Größe des Spiels wurden von James Wilson herausgegeben.

Everdell Duo soll demnach nicht viel (oder nur etwas) größer als 7 Wonders Duel sein.

"We really want this to feel like a game you can travel with easily and play at many places."

Zur Frage ob ED auch in anderen Sprachen zum Release veröffentlich wird:

"I don't know for sure yet on other languages, but I'm hopeful we will see it have a far reach in time, similar to Everdell."

Es soll laut James Wilson schon in Richtung 7 Wonders Duell gehen. Außerdem noch eine Cooperative Komponente UND noch eine Art Kampagne enthalten.

Als Everdell Fan bin ich gerade dezent gehyped.

"In Everdell Duo, you will either compete against your single opponent, or play cooperatively with another player, to earn the most points. You will accomplish this by placing workers to gather resources, then use those resources to play cards face up in front of you, creating your own woodland city. Cards may be played from your hand, or from the face up area on the board called the Meadow. However, only cards that are touching the Sun or Moon token may be played from the Meadow, and players will be moving these tokens each time they perform a turn. Therefore, planning and timing for which ards you play is critical.

Each game there will be Events that you are trying to achieve. The requirements for these Events will be different from game to game, making certain cards and combinations more important to pursue."

Scheint wohl eine exklusive 2 Spieler Variante von Everdell zu sein, die sich kurz und knackig spielt. Interessant, dass man das Spiel sowohl gegeneinander als auch miteinander spielen kann.
