Ich finde es auch wichtig zu wissen, das der Author Archologe und Antropologe ist, ich denke das prägt seine Erzählweise, also eher Völker als Individuen in den Fokus zu rücken und große Zeitspannen und Zusammenhänge zu betrachten. Das ist schon etwas anders als bei vielen anderen Autoren.
