Ja leider, hier das Statement des Entwicklers:
ZitatAlles anzeigenGloomhaven Helper is no longer available. All distribution of the app is now prohibited, including any modified versions of the app.
The app has been removed from the Apple and Google app stores. Users who previously purchased the app may continue to use it.
I feel that I owe it to my users to explain why the app is now gone. These are factual accounts of the events, not opinions.
When I built the app I used assets that Isaac Childres, the Gloomhaven author, provided without licensing terms. It wasn't a concern since I didn't intend to sell the app. I built it for fun and gave it away free for more than a year. After adding 2 expansions, 12 languages, and supporting over 150,000 users, I felt it was reasonable to be compensated to continue the effort. Desktop and web remained free, but I charged for iOS and to remove ads on Android. In response, Isaac added licensing terms retroactively and required I pay 10% of net sales to use his game's art and card text. I paid him and continued to improve and support my app so his players could have a high quality app for his game.
Later, I declined (and had never agreed to) building an app for Frosthaven – I just didn't have the free time to double my effort. Without any discussion, Isaac demanded that I remove his game's art and card text. The app could be useful without art, but not without card text. Isaac could have taken over my app for Frosthaven or let other developers do so (one had already added Frosthaven support!) but he chose to kill it instead, without a word about a better solution.
While I'm sad that my app won't be available anymore, I've taken great pride in seeing so many people enjoy my work during the time it had. For years I've gotten little positive reminders throughout the day in the form of new app review notifications. Thanks to everyone who took the time to show their awesome game/screen setups and to send positive feedback, it has brightened many of my days.
