Heute eine Mail der Daybreak-Macher bekommen, die wohl an deutsche Unterstützer ging:

I wanted to let you know that Schmidt Spiele will be releasing a German language edition of Daybreak called e-mission right around the same time that we'll be shipping English language copies to you.

If you'd rather get the German version, just respond to this email with hello@cmyk.games included, and we'd be happy to cancel your pledge and refund you, so you can buy the German edition separately, once it's released (think it will be at Essen Spiel, for instance).

I believe the Schmidt Spiele edition will be slightly more expensive, as you can see on their product page. And there are various small component differences, because it's being printed in Germany at LudoFact. But we don't know anything more than that yet.

If you'd like to keep your English language edition pledge, no need to do anything! We were slightly delayed with a final manufacturing issue—will send a backer update next week—but we're all good now and currently booking the boats now to EU ports. Copies will be headed your way in October.

Finde ich einen tollen Service, da während der Kampagne noch nicht klar war, ob es je eine deutsche Version geben wird. Jetzt dann diesen Refund für einen Wechsel anzubieten, ist schöner Service - zumal der Schritt ja vollkommen freiwillig ist. Für mich auf jeden Fall gut, da ich so noch eher im Familienkreis werde spielen können.

In Projektupdates gab es mE noch nichts dazu.

Gerade auch mal die Regeln durchgelesen und das Material näher studiert. Auch mit dem Text auf den Krisen Karten und den globalen Zielen waren die gezeigten Symbole zumindest gute Referenzen für die Bedingungen und Aktionen. Insofern mal in das Projekt eingestiegen. Kann guten Coop-Spielen nur selten widerstehen.

Hey, das klingt nach einer interessanten und herausfordernden Umsetzung des Themas Klimawandel. Da hoffe ich doch mal auf eine Lokalisierung nach erfolgreicher Kampagne.
