Maladum: Dungeons of Enveron
For our next project we're diving back into the fantasy world we created with our terrain range a couple of years ago. This time however, we're going underground, and we're taking the Core Space rules with us!

Once at the centre of a vast cosmic web the world of Mesa was brought low by intergalactic war. Cut off from its source of power the world was thrust brutally into a new dark age lasting for thousands of years.
Slowly, the forbidden knowledge of Maladum, commonly known as magic, returned to the world. Gifted individuals ushered in a new age of magic forcibly replacing the nascent age of reason. The rise of these powerful forces threatens the peace, and kingdoms are rent asunder in their lust for power.
Your small band of rogues and thieves aren’t interested in politics, only the opportunities afforded by interesting times. You are adventurers, willing to risk your lives in buried tombs, crypts and ancient dungeons in pursuit of riches and excitement. If you happen to save the world along the way...
The mechanics are built on the Core Space engine, but have been fully overhauled for a deep, crunchy fantasy feel. As you'd expect we've taken the focus away from guns and ammo and built a whole system for magic with spells and enchanted weaponry, and we've integrated that system throughout the game.
We've also redesigned the campaign phases with some characterful new rules. You no longer have a ship to maintain, but you'll need to visit the local town for supplies and find somewhere for your party to rest.
The rules are pretty much finished and are currently with our playtesters - we can't wait to show them off!
This new project will launch in the summer.
