Die Frage ist ja auch, ob es zwingend ein Mehrgewinn ist, wenn ich - statt einfach z.B. Einheitenstärken zu haben jeder Einheit Würfel zuweise und dann eben 20 gegen 10 Würfel gewürfelt wird statt einfach Stärke 14 gegen Stärke 8 gewinnt.
Ja! Gibt ja genügend Beispiele, wie man sowas auch mit wenigen Würfeln realisieren kann. Siehe Descent: Falls es nicht aufgefallen ist, es gibt auf den Würfeln keine Fehlschläge. Ich kann also auch mit Zufall und ohne Pech spannende Situationen erzeugen. Selbst Scythe macht das ja auch spannend durch die Karten und Räder - kein Zufall, viel Spannung.
Aber zu sehen ob ich gewinne, noch bevor ich einen Schritt in die Schlacht nehme, funktioniert für mich nur in Mage Knight - weil da das Puzzle an sich schon die Herausforderung ist.
bei scythe hast halt den zufall schon vorgelagert.

Daher spar ich erstmal hier das Geld und werde es bei Fractal ausgeben (was wiederum zu kurz oder speziell kommen könnte). Voidfall wird bestimmt ein gutes Spiel
Also bei Fractal stört mich das "story-driven legacy setting". Davon habe ich schon genug (gespielt) und fokussiere mich eher auf andere Titel. Dass die Kämpfe deterministisch sind, war lange bekannt und welche Art von Spiel(en) man bei Mindclash erwarten kann, sollte auch weniger verwundern. Was mich bei Voidfall etwas stört, dass man die 4X-Schiene reitet, obwohl mit eXplore nicht wirklich viel ist.

Noch ein Space 4X mit Würfelorgien würde halt auch keiner haben wollen.
Eclipse sehe ich auch nicht als reines Euro... Da hat Voidfall schon noch einen guten Platz.
bei eclipse ist ja schon sehr viel glück dabei. da ist eigentlich gar nix deterministisch.
space 4x ohne würfel sollte auch ab nächster woche mit fractal zu haben sein. -
für ein euro wär 5 stunden schon sehr lang. für ein 4x space game ists eigentlich erst der beginn. bei eclipse, dass schon ein bisserl mehr euro ist, stört mich die lange spielzeit nicht.
die frage stellt sich, ob ich nach stellaris und fractal (und halt noch TI4 und eclipse) ein weiteres 4x in space sinn macht, andererseits glaube ich, dass grad ein eurolastiges 4x ziehen könnte mit meinen freunden.

Da war ich auch mal, aber nach der Infinity-Box und dem Dino-Spiel bin ich da vorsichtiger. Das war beides so gar nicht nach meinem Geschmack.

das dinospiel hab ich mir gar nicht angeschaut, weil mich das thema nicht reizt.

eclipse eher als ti4, oder wo siehst du euro bei ti4?
Ich muss dazu sagen, ich hab es nur einmal gespielt, und vielleicht ist auch meine Sicht etwa betrübt vom Vergleich zu Space Empires 4x
Aber was ich eben als sehr euro-mäßig empfinde, ist dieses Spielgefühl "wie kann ich die Aktion machen, die ich gern machen würde".
Meistens funktioniert das eben über so eine Aktionsselektion wie zB ein Rondell. Ich möchte mich gern irgendwo hin bewegen, aber ich kann nicht "move" machen sondern muss den Aktionsmechanismus bedienen, um das zu tun was ich eigentlich will.
Bei TI hat mich am meisten eben dieses "aktiviere ein System pro Runde" (glaube so wars?) gestört. Das ist für mich üüberhaupt nicht thematisch und dann komme ich schnell raus von diesem space-opera Gefühl hin zu "okay, wie kann ich jetzt in den Spielmechanismen schaffen was ich eigentlich will, kann doch nicht so schwer sein".
Vielleicht liegt das auch einfach daran, dass ich mit solchen Systemen nicht gut zurecht komme. Aber mich stört es immer und besonders in einem 4x, dass ich künstliche Zwänge übergestülpt bekomme vom Spiel. Und das hatte ich bei TI auch.
Ergibt das Sinn?
ich verstehe das schon, aber so eine art limitierung haben die meisten 4x spiele. das ist wenig euro. Bei eclipse ist wirklich viel euro dabei, nur die kämpfe halt nicht. Bei TI4 ist da zu beginn viel optimierung in mehr oder weniger vorgegeben bahnen dabei, da hast du mit deiner euro-einschätzung sicher nicht unrecht, später ist viel diplomatie und auch glück dabei. TI4 ist auch mehr ein run for Victory points, da kann man noch so groß sein, wenn man nicht regelmäßig scort, bist du gleich weg.
ich bin auf jeden fall gespannt, nachdem ja heuer mit stellaris und mit fractal zwei neue space 4x auf KS kamen.

Twilight Imperium und Eclipse haben doch auch schon eine Menge Euro-Elemente, oder seht ihr das anders? Also klar, vielleicht ist der Fokus noch mehr darauf, aber so ganz neu ist das doch nicht.
