Update 86: Lost Orders and German Language Versions
T.A. Gray Mitarbeiter, 14. Dezember 2023
Hi friends,
It has taken a few months, but I have some news for those of you who didn't get their shipment, received the core game in the wrong language, or are missing part of their game. If you've received your full pledge, this update won't mean much to you. I'll have another update fairly soon on the direction of the game, including a possible second edition and campaign mode expansion.
I now have access to all of the remaining Everrain stock. While it's not a lot, I plan on using what I have to replace lost or incorrect pledges from backers of the campaign and I'm hopeful there is enough to cover what needs replacing. I'm going to go into detail below, but here's a bullet list of where we are:
- All previous tickets and requests are lost
- I will be sending out replacements as long as I have stock on a first come, first served basis
- You will need to pay for shipping
- A new ticketing system is in place
- It will close in 30 days, after which I will provide backers with links to pay shipping
What Do You Have in Stock?
I have most of the Kickstarter offerings in stock, and although there are a few options or language variants, I have few or zero inventories. When you fill out the ticket, there will be a dropdown list where you identify the items you are missing. If it isn't listed there, I don't have any in stock.
Because I don't have access to any previous tickets or records, I can only hope I have enough to cover everyone. One of the reasons I've set up this new system is to gauge how many people never got their game.
Why am I sending Another Ticket / Request?
Unfortunately, all prior records of any lost items are out of reach. The Grimlord website is gone for good, and the fulfillment partners that originally fielded requests for replacements will not share that information with me, citing privacy concerns. After all, I own the stock, but I am not Grimlord Games, so I understand their position.
That means you'll need to submit a new ticket. Over the last few days, I've been putting together a ticketing system on the Scoundrel Game Labs website for this exact purpose. You can find a link to it at the end of this post.
Why Am I Paying Shipping Again?
I am not charging anything for the remaining stock I have, but based on the number of backers that have contacted me about their missing items, I expect the cost of shipping all of the replacements to be several thousand dollars at a minimum. This is due in part to all of our remaining stock being in the UK, as the stock that was held in the U.S. was apparently liquidated by the logistics company to cover their storage fees.
How Long Do I Have?
I will be accepting tickets until 11:59 PM U.S. Central Time on January 14, 2024. At that point, I will start sorting out shipping costs and begin the process of sending replacements. Please note that replacements will be on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on the date you submit your ticket through our website.
How Do I Submit a Ticket?
You can find the ticketing system here. Please include a screenshot of your pledge details from Kickstarter, as well as a photo of the German version if you got the base game in the wrong language.
Also, please note that in the dropdown for missing Items I have included bundle options, please use those instead of listing out every individual expansion in them if possible.
