Hm, aber irgendwie steht auf der Seite außer den Titeln gar nichts, oder? Also gibt es eine Erklärung, wieso die Titel gewonnen haben und nicht andere?
Es ist wie beim SdJ oder anderen Jurys: Die Mehrheit hat es so entschieden.
Determining the Winners
The method we use is the "Single Transferable Vote" (which is also known as the "Alternative Vote", "Preference Vote" or "Instant Run-Off").
Each member ranks the list of finalists in order of preference.
Each committee member has one vote and a game needs an overall majority of votes cast in order to win. At the first stage of the count only the first preference of each voter is considered. If one game has an absolute majority of these votes, it is the winner. If not, all the games with no votes are eliminated, followed by the game with the fewest votes. The votes of this last game are reallocated using its supporters' preference lists. In all cases the vote goes to the highest game from that person's list that has not yet been eliminated. This process eliminates games one-at-a-time from the bottom of the rankings and reallocating its votes until one game has the required overall majority.

Nee, so einfach ist es nicht. Beim Spiel des Jahres gibt es für jedes Spiel zumindest eine Begründung für die Nominierung. Die Begründung des Gewinns kann man auf Youtube anschauen. (Vielleicht die der IGA auch, wenn sie die Zeremonie auf der SPIEL halten. Wenn ich mir das Video von 2022 anschaue, dann setze ich da eher nicht drauf.) Aber auf der IGA-Seite finde ich rein gar nichts zu den Spielen. Mich hätte eben vor allem interessiert, mit welcher Begründung Erde als Solospiel nominiert wurde.

Achtung, ich lehne mich mal scherzhaft(!) ganz weit aus dem Fenster und rate mal: weil es ein sehr gutes Solospiel ist!?^^
Und das ist es m.E. nach auch. Wenn man den Automa einmal geschnackelt hat, läuft es echt wie am Schnürchen und am Schwierigkeitsgrad kann man ja ebenfalls ordentlich schrauben. Menschliche Gegenspieler braucht man eh nicht so wirklich, da es ja schon recht solitär ist ansonsten. Und auch generell habe ich da schon wesentlich schwächere Solomodi gespielt (z.B. Praga Caput Regni, Teotihuacan, Tapestry, Expeditions, Arler Erde). Aber gut, fairerweise auch schon noch bessere (z.B. Dune: Imperium, Gaia Project, Nusfjord, Ein Fest für Odin, Yedo)
