Es ist schon wirklich verblüffend, wie viele Farben da immer wieder auf dennMarkt geworfen werden.
Bislang hatte ich damit geliebäugelt, die Broken Anvil oder auch die Kimera zu testen, aber die hier sehen echt aus super aus und hätten den Vorteil, aus Deutschland zu kommen. BA schreibt aktuell nur, sie hoffen Eu-Retail-Partner zu finden.
Kimera hatte ich auch immer mal mit geliebäugelt, aber wenn ich ehrlich zu mir bin will ich eigentlich doch lieber eine direkte Lösung aus einer Flasche haben als erst zu mischen.
Und in der Handhabung scheinen sie sich auch an den geübteren Maler zu wenden. Und sonst bekommt man sie mittlerweile auch (fast) immer und überall.
Die Farben von Broken Anvil haben mich in den kurzen Videos nicht so überzeugt. Außerdem würde da alles so scheibchenweise nachgelegt. In der Summe ist er keinen Deut billiger als Ultracryl. Ein Vorteil wäre bloß, dass die Farben in ca zwei, drei Monaten ausgeliefert werden.
Ich hoffe beide KS werden noch ein paar Videos nachschieben.

Nachdem Algathrac angedroht hat, seinen Cthulhu fertig zu stellen, habe ich mich beeilt, meinen schnell noch einzustellen bevor ich ob des Vergleiches wieder ins Kissen weine.
Für mich die beste Miniatur im Spiel. Ich finde die Pose super stark, diese gigantischen Flügel, das lauernde und dabei "ich habe alles im Griff" von Cthulhu... Mega!
Damit ist meine erste Fraktion von Cthulhu Wars komplett bemalt! Als nächstes ist wohl die Truppe um Nyarlathotep aka das Kriechende Chaos dran.

Aber beeilen hättest Dich nicht brauchen. Bei mir verhindert gerade was anderes grünes das Vorankommen - Link bzw. der neue Zeldateil und da setzt mich mein Sohn unter Druck, wie weit er schon ist, weil wir parallel spielen. Aber er mir in Sachen Freizeit einfach voraus ist.
Aber ein Cthulhu Malbattle hätte auch was. Ich hätte tatsächlich als nächste Fraktion Nyarlathotep oder Windschreiter im Auge gehabt.

diese farben kommen leider einen tick zu spät für meinen geldbeutel, hab einen großteil der contrast farben, dann konnte ich mich nicht bei den speedpaints und speedpaints 2.0 zuückhaltem. ich sags mal so : es weden bei guter verfügbarkeit bestimmt einzelne farben bei mir ein zuhause finden.
Hab mal ne Auszeit von Ankh genommen und mein #Raptor bemalt.
Die Minis sind hier wirklich mini (zum Vergleich, ein normaler Krieger aus Ankh auf dem letzten Bild) und nicht dolle detailliert, entsprechend wenig Arbeit und Mühe ist hier reingeflossen.
Nichtsdestotrotz finde ich das Spiel super und wollte es bunt haben (nahm ich mir schon ewig vor). Finds eh erstaunlich, dass alle Minis ne eigene Pose haben...

Habe da mal ne Frage an die Airbrusher.
Metallic-Farben (in meinem Fall von Scale und Army Painter) mit der Airbrush auftragen oder nicht?
Manche sagen die Metallics würden die Airbrush verstopfen und in anderen Videos sehe, wie mit Metallics gesprayt wird.
Also, wie handhabt ihr das so?
Die Vallejo Metallics Air habe ich hier, aber leider ist die Range da ein wenig klein.
Ich benutze ständig Metallfarben in der Airbrush. Verdünne sie stark und sprühe dann mehrere Schichten, hatte mit Verstopfen noch nie Probleme.
Hab mal die Stadt in der Mitte für "Defenders of the Last Stand" gebaut und bemalt.
Ist sicher ein Nischenspiel, da es ein Kickstarter only war und die Rezensionen eher durchschnittlich waren.
Mir gefällt es trotzdem...deswegen
Bietet auch genug Platz für die Miniaturen, da einige der niedrigen Gebäude so gemacht sind, dass man zur Not etwas darauf stellen kann.
Das letzte Bild ist die Board Illustration.
Habe mich mal mit den xpress an den ersten Titan gewagt. Abgesehen dass der Stoff eigentlich mit lizard Green gemalt ist, mein Handy aber scheinbar es als blau ansieht, ist die Haut Realitätstreu dargestellt.
Die Hautfarbe bekomme ich aber nicht schön hin. Habe cork Brown model color von Vallejo mit xpress medium verdünnt, weil rein xpress gibt es nichts was auch nur annähernd an Hautfarbe kommt.
Ich habe die Sets von Vallejo xpress, Vallejo model color und Army painter washes. Habt ihr eine Ahnung wie ich Hautfarbe hinbekommen kann?

Gerade durch Zufall auf Kickstarter gefunden.
Ich finde die Farben extrem cool, hab mir das Video zur gelben Farbe auf einer schwarzen Miniatur angeschaut. Bis jetzt habe ich nur alle Zombies von Zombicide 2nd Edition angemalt aber dort ist mir auch aufgefallen wie bescheiden gelb doch deckt. Hab bis jetzt nur Army Painter / ein paar VallejoFarben und Blood for the Blood Gods von Citadel (der Name hatte mich sofort überzeugt )

Deine Base sieht aus, wie Copper Brown
Dwarf Skin sollte eigentlich wesentlich blasser sein (mit heller Grundierung) und einen brauchbaren Hautton abgeben:

alles klar, er macht das auf einer weißen grundierung, meine ist grau mit weiß drybrushing. Mal schauen, ob ich den Untergrund heller bekomme
Ich hatte zwar auch mit Dunkelgrau grundiert, aber auch heftig hell trockengebürstet. Mittlerweile würde ich Gesichter nochmal richtig weiß übermalen. Da sieht jedes bisschen durchscheinendes Grau sehr unschön aus.
Bei den nächsten Miniaturen werde ich wahrscheinlich probieren komplett hell zu grundieren. So richtig überzeugt hat mich der Slapchop-Ansatz nicht...
sieht doch echt gut aus. Für die Bilder würde ich empfehlen nicht den Blitz als Lichtquelle zu nehmen, durch die Schatten kommt die bemalte Figur nicht so raus. Am besten bei Tageslicht

An "einfärbig" hatte ich gar nicht gedacht
Ich habe jetzt angefangen mit Monster Hunter World, alles erst mal schwarz grundiert.
Der erste Schwung mit dem Forest Grundspiel zumindest mit den Monstern ist fertig angemalt, allerdings bin ich mir noch nicht schlüssig, ob ich die Basen noch verschönern soll. Hat da jemand Tipps was zu kaufen wäre? Für Wald und Wüste.
Wenn ich etwas an den Bases mache, nehme ich dafür Sachen aus der Base Ready Serie:
Zum Beispiel Trudvang oder Blood Rage (sorry, das eine Bild steht Kopf):
Es gibt so etwas aber auch von anderen Herstellern (Krautcover).
Für mich ist das ein gute Möglichkeit. Die Bases von Brettspiel-Figuren sind ja oft auch nicht so groß. Und ich habe da auch keine besondere Lust mich noch einmal extra auszutoben, um da ein kleines Diorama zu gestalten.
Leim auf die Base, in die Mischung, rütteln, fertig. Dann noch einmal mit verdünntem Weißleim versiegeln. Ich hatte bei Green Horde dann doch noch viel Gekrümel, das irgendwann in der Kiste herumflog.
Habt ihr eine Empfehlung für einen "normalen" Lack (also nicht matt), den man mit dem Pinsel auftragen kann? Ich finde nur welche für Airbrush und bin unsicher, ob man die auch mit dem Pinsel aufbringen kann.

Ich persönlich trage Vallejo Matt Varnish mit dem Pinsel auf, wenn ich den nicht gut schüttele und vor dem auftragen mit Wasser verdünne empfinde ich den Lack auch als glänzend.

Ich habe mein erstes Brettspiel bemalt. Male seit ca. 8 Monaten und nach vielen Übungsminis habe ich mich an #Valor&Villainy Minions of Mordak rangetraut. Nutze bisher Vallejo Model Paints und Shades von Citadel. Tipps und konstruktive Kritik willkommen (allerdings sind meine feinmotorischen Fähigkeiten arg limitiert, hatte in Kunst zurecht immer ne 4).
Jetzt noch Zeit finden Lludvigs Labyrinth zu bemalen, dann kann die Kampagne starten.

gefühlt werde ich fixer und besser was Ideen und deren Umsetzung angeht, leider sind die Figuren von Planet eher semi toll gegossen aber dafür bringen die Farben deutliche Verbesserung

Imperator I. Sieht prima aus für dein erstes Malprojekt! Da du nach konstruktiver Kritik gefragt hast zwei Hinweise: die Figuren sehen ein wenig "flach" aus, da wenig Kontrast zum Einsatz kommt. So zum Beispiel bei der Haut des Ogers oder den Mänteln.

Bei der allerletzten Figur auf deinen Bildern wird man in der Vorderseite förmlich von Farben/Elementen erschlagen, das schafft ein eher unruhiges Bild. Das Auge weiß gar nicht, wo es hinschauen soll.
Hier könnte es helfen, gezielt mit weniger Farben bzw mehr Farbabstufungen zu arbeiten.
Die "große Hausaufgabe" dazu wäre die Beschäftigung mit Farbtheorie, vor allem den Einsatz des Farbrads/Color Wheels. Dazu findest du ganz viele Videos auf Youtube.
(Ich halte mit mit Ratschlägen, die ja bekanntlich auch Schläge sind, hier oft zurück. Ihr habt beide konkret nach Feedback gefragt - ich hoffe, dass kam konstruktiv und nicht besserwisserisch rüber!)

Ich war schon deutlich zu dunkel und hab schon versucht aufzuhellen aber dachte mir dann irgendwann lieber aufhören ... also meinst du ggf. noch nen ganz minimalen helleren blau-Dry-Durchgang drüber?!

Lange Version: Was ich bei mir oft beobachtet habe - wenn du die Minis bemalst und deine Highlights/Schatten aufträgst , macht man das oft mit der Figur quasi vor dem Auge inklusive ggf. spezieller Beleuchtung beim malen. Beim Spielen ist der Abstand aber viel höher, und was man zuerst als tolle Details wahrnimmt geht auf die Distanz flöten.
Daher- mindestens mit einer Armlänge Abstand draufschauen und nach mal kritisch prüfen - hat das die gewünschte Wirkung?
Beim highlighten von blau muss man aufpassen, dass der Sprung zwischen den Farben nicht zu hoch wird. Gerade die fertigen hellblauen Töne haben oft einen hohen Anteil an weiß, das macht das layern zudem schwer.
