- Sieg bei Vernichtung des Großen Alten ( oder der Verhinderung des Rituals? Das hab ich nicht klar verstanden)

Ich sehe das wie Peter. Bisher hat mich keins von CMONs Spielen begeistert.

Die Marvel Filme sind auch alle toll gemacht. Trotzdem stellt sich bei mir langsam eine gewisse Ermüdung ein, seit Civil War bin ich effektiv ausgestiegen... Und mir graut es ein bisschen davor, dass es die nächsten Jahre so weitergeht... gut die Hälfte der Blockbuster stammen aus diesem Universum.
Mit cthulhu und cmon ist es ähnlich.

Ich hätte das anders schreiben sollen und habe es mal korrigiert. CMON Spiele haben mich noch nie begeistert und daher bin ich nicht interessiert.
Von Eric habe ich Warhammer Invasion gespielt, das gefällt mir. Conquest liegt noch ungespielt bei mir rum. Was aber alles so bisher mit CMON bei ihm passiert ist, haut mich nicht vom Hocker. Da wird auch Cthulhu nichts dran ändern.

Ich kenne aber auch kein Spiel von CMON, das (aus meiner Sicht) wirklich sehr gut war. Schlecht waren die meisten nicht, aber zu meinen Lieblingsspielen gehören sie nicht und damit würden sie bei der großen Auswahl zwangsläufig im Regal bleiben, denn ich ziehe ein sehr gutes einem guten Spiel vor.
Davon abgesehen, dass mich Plastik anödet und ich im Alltag meinen Plastikverbrauch so gering wie möglich halte, klingt "Death May Die" sehr nach Standardformel mit einer Prise Cthulhu-Hype. Cthulhu scheint sich ja gerade gut zu verkaufen, da bietet sich eine Umsetzung ja an.
Koop kennt man ja schon aus vielen anderen CMON Titeln. Die Anleihen liegen für mich klar bei "Arkham/Eldritch Horror" und den hauseigenen Titeln. Es gibt Ermittler, welche zusammenarbeiten und gegen einen Großen Alten kämpfen. Wenn dieser erwacht, dann ändert das das Spiel deutlich. Hier könnten Mechanismen wie die Horrorleiste von "Arkham Horror" (Felder sind nicht mehr verfügbar, Begleiter verschwinden,...) und die Rückseite des Großen Alten aus "Eldritch Horror" verbunden werden (Proben sind erschwert, es ändern sich manche Regeln (die Monster greifen zuerst an z.B.)).
Karten dienen nicht als Mechanismus, aber Ausrüstungskarten/Loot wird es wie bei anderen CMON Titeln garantiert geben. Da bekommt jeder Held sein Plastiktableaut und kann sich seine Ausrüstung anlegen und Werte steigern. Der Kampf läuft "in your face" ab, also ein reines Würfelwerfen. Kartenausspielen macht ja wenig Sinn, da das Spiel als Koop angelegt ist und es sonst eine Art KI geben müsste, die pro Kampf eine passende Karte ausspielt. Von daher wird man sich an "Zombicide", "Massive Darkness" oder eben "Arkham/Eldritch Horror" orientieren. Die Szenarien werden ählich sein wie die Decks der Großen Alten: eine Vorgabe für den Aufbau, ein paar Sonderregeln und damit ein abgewandeltes Spielerlebnis.
Das ist natürlich alles Spekulatius und vielleicht ist das Spiel ja mal wirklich etwas Neues und innovativ, ich bin mir da aber nicht sicher. Für mich fährt CMON immer eine ähnliche Schiene. Bei einigen Spielen wirkt es so, als sei einfach das Thema ausgetauscht worden, da sich der Grundmechanismus gut verkauft und auf ein anderes Thema anwenden lässt. Das einzige was ich jetzt schon sicher sagen kann ist, dass das Spiel ein Erfolg wird. Das liegt am Thema und vorallem daran, dass es CMON ist und Spiele mit viel Minis und einem "in your face"/kurzweiligen Spielerlebnis sehr gefragt sind.

Ach - Ich find mich mit meiner Selbstoffenbarung ganz schön stark Selbst zu erkennen, dass man ne schwache Sau ist und damit noch offen umzugehen, ist die eigentliche Stärke Emanzipation des Mannes, schwache Seite zeigen mit Gefühle und so

Bin bei CMON mittlerweile sehr vorsichtig, da ich keinen Bedarf mehr an 'alten Spielen' im neuen Gewand habe. Lovecraft ist für mich aktuell aber noch interessant, da ich bisher nur Eldritch Horror habe.
Allerdings bedeutet CMON wieder eine reine Miniaturenschlacht und ich bevorzuge mittlerweile Kartenspiele oder Brettspiele mit Pappaufstellern bzw. Holzklötzchen.

Schlechte Spiele... Blood Rage läuft einfach immer Zombicide und Co sind für mich auch keine Kracher, aber immerhin liefern sie genau das, was sie versprechen.
Ich hätte zwar doch Angst, dass es zu sehr auf Monsterbashing hinausläuft (wie #SUSD mal sagten: "The Guardian is for people who believe lovecraft is about shooting tentacles with a shotgun..."), aber ich werde es definitiv im Auge behalten.

Bin erstmal skeptisch das da was vernünftiges kommt, allein der Name törnt schon ein bisschen ab... Schaun mer Mal...

Thema ausgelutscht, mit Cthulhu Wars DAS Spiel in dem Bereich im Schrank und dazu die oft eher flacheren Spiele von CMON die eher Materialschlachten sind... Ich bin skeptisch.

Es gibt mittlerweile 2 weitere Videos:
- Spiel wird 2018 erscheinen („soonish“in 2018)
- Man startet das Spiel „Wahnsinnig“ und irgendwann im Spiel (bestimmt durch die Würfelwürfe) bricht der Wahnsinn aus und man verliert temporär die Kontrolle über seinen Charakter und macht etwas Unvorhersehbares
- Spiel spielt in den 20er Jahren
- Episodencharakter im Stile von TV Shows

Nope.
Ich hab genug "Investigators against the Mythos" in AH, EH und diversen RPGs. Und genug Coop, ohnehin. Und CMONs Materialschlachten sind eh nix für mich, geschweige denn unzählige Miniaturen. Das deckt auch mein Rundumschlag CW zur Genüge ab (DIE Ausnahme in dem Bereich).
...falls man einzelne Figuren jedoch separat erwerben kann (was wahrscheinlich nicht so einfach möglich ist), wäre ich eventuell für die eine oder andere dabei (first and foremost Hastur)... -

Cthulhu hin, Cthulhu her ... da ich mich ganz bewusst bereits gegen Zombicide in Space entschieden habe, muss CMON schon mehr bringen als ein H.P. Lovecraft Zombicide. Ich denke, anhand der bisherigen Details kann ich keine abschließende Entscheidung treffen. Die Chancen stehen etwa 50 / 50 ... vom Thema / Miniaturen her JA, vom Vernunftlevel her NEIN, also muss mich das Konzept überzeugen ... insgesamt bin ich aber skeptisch, dafür hat sich CMON in letzter Zeit zu sehr auf den Miniaturen ausgeruht ... mal abwarten.
